To set an extra level of security, you can use Security questions. Follow along this tutorial plus the WHMCS demo video to see how easy setting these are.
Mainly these questions come in handy when your clients contact you in order to verify their identify. By prompting your customers to choose a question to answer before preceding, will set the desired security.
This same technique will come into play when a customer resets the password from the client area. Here again a security message will appear asking to choose and answer a question before he/she can change the password to a new one.
- As always you need to be logged into your WHMCS admin panel, so let’s log in first.
- Now click on the Setup tab.
- Hover over Other.
- From the drop down menu, select Security Question.
- Type a question and click Save Changes.
- Newly created question will be listed here and will show up.
- Click on the red minus button to delete security questions listed.
This is the end of the tutorial. You now know how to manage security questions in WHMCS.
