How to customize the E-mail Templates used by WHMCS?

With WHMCS’s email templates, you can send customized messages to your customers about anything which happens inside your web hosting company’s WHMCS. This tutorial is written discussing how to customize your email templates. Also check out the video of Customizing WHMCS email-templates

  1. Log into your WHMCS admin panel and click on Setup.setup-from-whmcs
  2. Next from the drop down menu of Setup, select Email Templateselect-emai-templates-from-the-drop-down-list
  3. These Email templates are used by WHMCS when certain events occur. You can modify the default templates or create custom ones here.email-template-interface-with-editing-options-whmcs
  4. Click on any template name, you would like to change.click-on-client-signup-email-link
  5. In this section, you can change the From name and Email Addressemail-template-interface
  6. You may also want to disable this email from being sent.check-to-disable-email-from-being-sent
  7. Here you can edit the contents of the email template.create-the-email-message
  8. You can also use these variables, like {$client_name}. Which will display actual client name in each email sent to the clients.available-merge-fields-listed-in-whmcs
  9. When you are done, click Save Changes.click-save-changes
